On November 28, 2024, the Global Nursing Research Center (GNRC) held a joint conference with the School of Nursing at National Taiwan University (NTU). The theme was “Promoting Family Strengths,” focusing on important topics like community support for mothers and babies, helping teenagers and their families during care transitions, and the role of sleep in family health. There was also a special presentation about the University of Tokyo Living Lab, which introduced new ways to solve community health issues through a practical, real-life project. The conference encouraged open discussions where participants, both faculty members and graduate students, shared ideas and experiences and talked about the importance of collaborative work. Overall, the conference built a strong foundation for future partnerships between UTokyo and NTU and highlighted the value of sharing knowledge to support families.
