On July 14^th,2022, the fifth lecture of the Nursing Lecture Series was held. Professor Azita Emami, the Executive Dean of Nursing, University of Washington, USA, shared the importance of looking at the whole picture of the population health and considering the macro-level of care simultaneously with the personal or micro level of care. The role of nurses in contributing to the population health and primary care was highlighted, and the necessity of caring for people in their social, cultural, and economic contexts was emphasized. More than 80 people from Japan and abroad have participated.
