On Oct. 20th,2021, we held the first lecture in the “Nursing Lecture Series” program. A one-hour lecture entitled “The sustainable development goals: Shaping a pathway for nurses” was given by Professor Patricia M. Davidson, the vice-chancellor and president of the University of Wollongong, Australia, and the former dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, The United States of America. Professor Davidson shared her experiences and insights about how nurses can develop and implement long-term and sustainable goals to guide research, education, and practice. Several concepts, such as “environmental health” were discussed. Many of the 63 attendees have participated in the post-hoc discussion and shared their feedback.
