12月17日、Distinguished Professor Caroline Homer（The University of Sydney Technology）が東京大学を訪問され、The process of making The Lancet series on Midwifery: what next for collaborative international research?というタイトルでGNRC特別セミナーが開催されました。Homer教授は、The Lancet series on Midwifery　2014の、オーストラリアで唯一の筆者です。助産師による適切なケアが、母子の死亡率をいかに下げるか、どのようにより多くの助産師を教育し、より良いケアモデルを確立し、またそれを導き出すためにどのような研究が求められているかを分かち合ってくださいました。感謝いたします。
